Lincoln Highway Bluegrass Band
Come along and see . . .

Where bluegrass hits the road!

Bluegrass roots began early in the 1900’s with the likes of Bill Monroe, Maybelle Carter, and the Stanley Brothers. It survived and stirred a desire in Jonathan Hull, Michael Bergman, Michael Luttrell, Ken Lyons, and Terry Augspurger to play it.

While the band is from Marshalltown, this fall, 2000 picture was taken on Lincoln Highway at a one-of-a-kind bridge in Tama, Iowa. Please note Lincoln Highway runs close to most of the band members' homes and businesses.
